I love fashion but there is a part of the industry I just don’t get– the part where you need to have a “name” to be considered sometimes – it is so hard for young, emerging designers to get their name out there when people don’t give them a chance. I love my designers that have a great name and have great PR and who have had successful companies for years and years. I am so happy to be able to work with them and so thankful to them. Yet I still think we should give the new designers that might not be a “name” a chance. Sometimes if we give these designers a chance we will all discover real treats of creativity. It should be about the design and how it looks on the person and not the ‘name”, “brand” or “cost”. It should be if the person wearing it loves it and feels good in it.
