I really want to move to Brooklyn but at the same time I love my apartment, my view, and the ability to walk to work and then be able to come back to spend time with my dogs. My dogs are one of my happiness factors in life !
Scott & I did look all over Brooklyn but for now I think we are going to stay where we are and life in our neighborhood just got even better when Brooklyn Fare came to our hood.
I love it ! They have everything I need in a market from beautiful organic food, a lot of gluten free choices including the most delicious pasta, and an incredible ice cream section. I am trying so hard not to eat dairy and they make it easy with several COCONUT choices along with many sugar free – and they taste delicious. I consider myself an ICE CREAM CONNOISSEUR and I think that Brooklyn Fare has an even better ice cream selection than WHOLE FOODS. I wonder if the owner is an ice cream fanatic like me. There are ice creams that are dairy based but the flavors are so incredibly decadent and creative I do try those as well- I mix the non – dairy and the dairy so I am not doing all dairy but I get to try some of the different flavors.
Also I was so happy to see Cat Cora’s line of yummy products ( who once created the menu for an event I did for the Humane Society with Slash and several other awesome people) and delicious local products.
If you are in the HUDSON YARDS on 37th and 10th let me suggest the following — go to brunch or dinner at THE MARSHAL http://www.the-marshal.com/– one of my new favorite restaurants, take a cross fit class at Cross Fit Hells Kitchen and then get some yummy groceries at Brooklyn Fare.
