The Bachelorette’s JP Rosenbaum Walks the Runway

Junk Food Art House took a chance by finishing off NYFW with a Monopoly-inspired runway show as the finale for the Style360 events. With a “Money Can’t Buy Happiness” theme, the Metropolitan Pavilion was transformed into the board game itself, with each look coming down the runway as the famousproperties and elements of the traditional game.
With insider access, the show goers had no need to pass go in order to play along. DJ Josh Madden worked the turn table as Madonna’s choreographer and model Josh Holland opened up the show as Mr. Monopoly himself stepping to what he called his “swag step.” Following suit, the models strutted down the runway in vintage T-shirts displaying Baltic Avenue, Pennsylvania Railroad, St. James Place, and everyone’s favorite, Luxury Tax! The imaginative designers behind the property looks included Aaron Rose, Boy Meets Girl’s Stacy Igel,Sylvia Heisel, Kal Rieman, Andrea Valentini, andClaudine DeSola for Caravan.
Many of these celebrated properties were brought to life by familiar faces, including Disney Channel’s Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Style Network’s Jeannie Mai, Lily Halpern, and The Bachelorette’s JP Rosenbaum (Ashley Hebert sat front row alongside Twilight‘s Chaske Spencer and Nigel Barker).
Junk Food Art House created such an innovative runway show and just might have succeeded in monopolizing the Style360 events. It ended with a festive toss of Monopoly money and quote that read: “It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor.” Words to live by.
